Congratulations to all the 2007 State Champions.  You dared to dream of success and you realized those dreams through hard work and dedication.  This poem was given to me by a passing friend I met at MD Anderson and I would like to share it with you.

Dare To Dream

You may get a lot of negative
feedback from others,
and so much happens in life
to block the road you wish to travel.
But you must dream anyway
and cherish your dreams
as they come from your soul
and are the blueprint
of who you are.
What's more, they represent
the direction you should take on earth.
Let your heart set your goals
and remain dedicated to them.

Thank you East Brownsville Little Miss Kickball for hosting the 2007 State Tournament; it was a total success and will be remembered for a very long while.  Opening ceremonies were awesome!  Our 2007 graduating “Seniors” will have something to treasure for the rest of their lives. 

To all the District and League Presidents, Coaches and Umpires:

I believe in you.  I believe you are special and gifted individuals.
I believe you have what it takes to make Little Miss Kickball II a dream come true for many girls.  I believe you have much inner strength and courage.  I believe you are creative, intelligent, and capable of molding our girls into great leaders in our communities.  I believe you can produce girls with bright futures ahead of them.

And this summer, I hope you never forget that someone believes in you!
